'Tis the season for our annual Christmas Tournament!

This is a Women's 7v7 tournament

ARRIVAL TIME FOR ALL TEAMS: 4:15 PM

Please note:
• We are taking Team Registrations only. Team Registration is for a team of upto 10 players (7 + 3 substitutes). You will need to pay separately for any additional player, beyond 10 players.
• If you are an individual player who is looking for a team to play with, please contact Sanya @ +91 7411 792 211, and we will do our best to find a team for you

What will be provided/available on the day:
• Drinking Water
• Clean washrooms
• Parking will be available at the venue
• Physio from Peak Performance
• Medical Kit

What the players need to carry on the day:
• Team Kit. Bibs will be available in case of clash in team colours
• Shin guards and football boots are encouraged, for safety
• Goalkeepers encouraged to carry gloves
• Water bottle
• Holly Jolly Energy!

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE:

• This is a league cum knockout tournament, with group stage matches, semi-finals, third place match and finals
• 8 teams, divided into 2 groups
• Group stage matches will be played like a League
Win: 3 points, Draw: 1 point, Loss: 0 points
• In case of a tie in points, the goal difference will be considered
• If 2 teams are at par on the goal difference & points, 3 penalties per team will be carried out
• If penalties are tied as well, winner will be decided on a sudden death (coin toss)
• Top 2 teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals, where the winners will play the runners of the other group
• The semi-finals, third place match and finals will all be played in knock-out format
• In case of a tie, 3 penalties per team will be carried out
• If penalties are tied as well winner will be decided on a sudden death (coin toss)

MATCH RULES:

• 7-a-side tournament, only 7 players per team on the field (including the Goalkeeper)
• Rolling substitutions allowed
• Each half is 10 minutes with a 2-minute break (10-2-10)
• No offsides
• Back-pass is not allowed i.e. the goalkeeper cannot receive the ball in her/his hands, in the penalty area, if their own player has deliberately passed the ball to them from their feet
• Kick-ins for balls out of bounds, not throw-ins
• Kick-ins to goal must be indirect
• The Goalkeeper is only allowed to throw underarm
• Fouls result in free-kicks, only handballs are direct shots
• Yellow card leads to a 3-minute player suspension, substitute allowed
• Red card results in the player being unable to play the remainder of that game, and the following game (if there is one for their team)
• Inability to field a minimum of 5 players at the scheduled KO time will lead to a walk-over
• Referee's decision is final and cannot be contested
