Alriighht Dilli Sisters & Misters, this one's a 'Community Level' footy tournament for YOU! An evening of Football, healthy competition, Awesome Prizes, Fun Banter and GOOD ENERGY!
Here's everything you need to know about the event:
*ARRIVAL TIME FOR ALL TEAMS: 4:15PM*
*TOURNAMENT FORMAT:*
* 5v5 mixed gender tournament
* 5 teams of 8 players
* 5 Female Captains

• We will work with the Captains to put together the 5 teams as fairly as possible, from the list of players that register
*TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE:*
* League format (every team plays every other team) -> top 2 teams play the finals, 3rd & 4th team play 3rd place match
* In case of a Draw in League points, Goal Difference will be considered and then penalties
* A draw in the Final Match or 3rd Place Match will be decided on penalties
* *Penalty rules:* One step penalty. 3 penalties for each team, and then one additional penalty in case of a draw, till there is a winner. Each penalty must be taken by a different player in the team. A player can only be repeated if all 8 players have completed their attempt
*MATCH RULES:*
* *There must be _minimum_ 2 female players on the pitch at any given time*
* Match duration: 10mins each half + 2 mins half time
* Rolling subs
* No off-sides
* Kick-ins only, no throw-ins from the outside line
* Kick-ins to goal must be indirect
* Back-pass is not allowed i.e. the goalkeeper cannot receive the ball in her/his hands, in the penalty area, if their own player has deliberately passed the ball to them from their feet
* Shin guards are encouraged for safety
* The GK is only allowed to throw underarm
* All Goal Keepers (female or male) must wear GK gloves
* Yellow card will lead to 3 minute suspension of the player, no substitution allowed
* Red card will lead to the removal of the player for the remainder of that game, no substitution allowed, and he/she won't be allowed to play the following game as well
* *Inability to field a minimum of 4 players (of which 2 must be women) at the scheduled KO time will lead to a walk-over*
* *Referee's decision is final and cannot be contested*
*PRIZES:*
There is NO prize money. There will be trophies/medals/goodies for:
* Winning team
* Runners up team
* 3rd place team
* Best Goal Keeper
* Highest Goal Scorer
* MVP
*What will be available at the venue:*
• Drinking water
• Clean washrooms (separate for women & men)
• Parking
• First Aid kit
• Basic refreshments
*What you will need to carry:*
• Team colours/kit
• Football boots & shin guards are encouraged
• Water bottle
• Goooooooood energy!!!
